A demonic 80s-themed party is taking over this Metro Vancouver art gallery for Halloween

Who’s ready to hit the dance floor on Halloween night? Billed as one of Vancouver’s largest Halloween events, this 80s-themed aerobics party is definitely one to have on your radar if you’re making your Halloween plans soon. Not only will it be filled with big hair, neon leotards, and other fun retro workout gear, but it’ll have some of the city’s top live acts and DJs in attendance, spread across the gallery.

Live DJs, classic arcade games, and flash tattoos

On the main stage, Genesis (winner of Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar) will host the night, introducing live performances by Trauma Novelle, Reveal Yourself, and Devours, with Christa Belle DJing between sets.

In the second room, Club Bebé will feature Binky and Brendocha, and Black Box will feature Auntie Money, Jesse Walker, and Pip, turning the space into a high-energy dance party.

According to The Polygon, the ground floor will become a barcade with hand-built arcade cabinets by renowned tattoo artist James Acrow. Here, guests can enjoy unlimited free play across thousands of classic games.

And if you want a little something more than a photo to remember the night by, there will be Halloween-themed flash tattoos up for grabs.

The fun kicks off at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31, with the party running until 1 a.m. There will be a $500 cash prize for the best dressed (as well as a couple of prizes for the best group costumes), so make sure you and your friends bring your A-game!

How much are tickets?

Early bird tickets are available online for $57.94 a pop, or $137.04 for the first tier of VIP tickets, which get you access to a curated lounge, the VIP lounge and bar, and complimentary coat check. VIP ticket holders also get a welcome cocktail and get to skip the line.

Mark your calendars if you’re looking to work up a sweat this Halloween.
