Here are the Greater Toronto’s top employers for 2025

Greater Toronto’s Top Employers have been announced for 2025 and the winners make up a dynamic group of companies that have stood out among the “nation’s most competitive labour market.”

Released by Mediacorp Canada this is the 19th year that the Greater Toronto’s Top Employers editorial project has recognized “employers with exceptional human resources programs and forward-thinking workplace policies.”

“The individuals working at this year’s winners mirror the diversity of the population in the region,” says Richard Yerema, executive editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

“To retain employees over the long term, employers need to offer benefits and programs that encourage their people to grow with the organization. The best employers constantly raise the bar by making these benefits flexible, so employees can really customize them to suit their needs,” Yerema continues.

According to Mediacorp Canada, “Strong organizational cultures are integral in a region as multicultural as the GTA.” For this reason, this year’s winners showed initiatives that promoted “teamwork and cohesion” like social events and company-sponsored volunteer work within the community.

The criteria reviewed for each workplace include work atmosphere and social, health, financial and family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.

If companies want to be considered, they must have a head office or principal place of business in the Greater Toronto Area.

With all that being said, these are the 2025 winners.
