Got cabin fever? Take a virtual vacation to the world’s most exotic spots with this site

Are we the only ones losing our minds in Toronto’s lockdown round two? We’re staying home as much as possible for the health and safety of others (and because all Torontonians are supposed to). But dang does it get boring sometimes! Well, the answer to our cabin fever has arrived. We’ll be taking a virtual vacation with the website Virtual Trips.

You can quench your thirst for travel right from the comfort of your own couch with this amazing site. All you’ve got to do is log on and the world is your oyster. Seriously, they’ve got trips everywhere! Want to check out the Antonine Baths in Tunisia? There’s a trip for that. Or how about street art in Lisbon, Portugal? They’ve got that too. Some trips even have special extras like live cooking demonstrations.

Every trip is a live demonstration presented by locals from the area. You’ll move through the streets while they explain the area unscripted and unedited. Plus, because it’s a real person on the other end, you can ask all the questions you’d like.

But the best part has got to be the price. You won’t believe it, but a virtual trip from this site is free! Yes, you read that correctly. FREE. The service is entirely tip-based, so that’s the only expense you’ll have to think about. Not too shabby, huh?

There are virtual trips happening almost every day this month, so log on and take your pick. If you’d like to check out the full schedule, you can do so here.
