These Edmonton golf courses will open for the 2025 season this week

With the sun in the sky, you might be eager to get the 2025 golf season started. Luckily, you won’t have to wait much longer because two City of Edmonton golf courses will be open by the end of the week.

Dust off your clubs and stretch your arms because it’s that time of year again!

“The City, in partnership with proshop contractors and food services providers, welcomes all golfers back to municipal courses for the 2025 season,” the City wrote.

“Whether you are a beginner or seasoned golfer, a City golf course has something to offer. The City welcomes everyone to enjoy some of the best greens and views in Edmonton.”

As for which courses, you can check out? Victoria Driving Range opened at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.

Once you’re all warmed up, head to Rundle Golf Course between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on April 11 – weather dependent.

Unfortunately, there will be no golf cart rentals, but at least you won’t go hungry because the new Shortees restaurant will be open at Rundle starting next week.

If you’d like to book a tee time or a lesson, you can visit movelearnplay.ca.

The grand reopening of the Riverside and Victoria golf courses will be announced soon.

Happy swinging, Edmonton!
