GlobalFest’s new foodie-friendly virtual event will take you around the world

This year, GlobalFest is extending its reach well beyond its annual fireworks show! For 2021 they have turned their attention to the flavours of their annual OneWorld Festival by hosting a 10-episode live mini-series! Each installment will feature a different culture and the entire journey from grocery store to plate!

• Access to single episode of the series (LIVE)
• Q & A period with chefs
• Spice & Dry Goods Box (with purchase of combo ticket)

What To Expect

Join us on the whole journey – buy spices, shop for ingredients, explore recipes and step into home and restaurant kitchens as the chef shares how to prepare the featured dish. Each episode runs 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, plus question time. Ingredient lists are available via the GlobalFest website to check for dietary restrictions.

• May 4 – Indonesian Cuisine with Indonesian Kitchen
• May 18 – Vietnamese Cuisine with the Calgary Vietnamese Women’s Association
• June 1 – Francophonie Cuisine with the Calgary Regional ACFA
• June 15 – Chinese
