Toronto neighbourhood once named coolest in the world to host one-day block party

One of Toronto’s most beloved neighbourhoods, once named the coolest in the world, is making the most of the upcoming winter season with a little party. Geary Avenue is welcoming all to its Geary Winter Block Party, taking over the strip next month.

The event comes from the same team behind the popular annual summer bash that transforms Geary Avenue into a lively hub of music, art, and community.

They’re bringing back the excitement, the atmosphere and of course the delicious eats back to the neighbourhood for one day only.

The Geary Winter Block Party takes place on Dec. 6, 2025, and if it’s anything like its past events, you’re in for a treat.

The organizers say attendees can expect a full day of local flavours, entertainment, and unique vendors that celebrate the creativity and culture of the area.

“We’re bringing together the best local flavours, live tunes, and unique vendors for a day you won’t want to miss,” shares the team on Instagram.
