If you’ve ever been on the prowl for tasty street food in Gastown, chances are you’ve already experienced the mouthwatering flavours from Frying Pan’s beloved food truck. And if you haven’t, now’s your chance to sample their eats in a new setting.
Chef and Owner Jacob Jung and Co-Owner Sunny Jung are celebrating the fifth anniversary of their food truck by bringing their signature style of Korean fare to a brand new brick-and-mortar spot at 1101 Denman Street. Best of all? The new resto opens to the public on Saturday, September 24th – and the first 100 guests can get the Classic Sando for just $5!

The new space will offer guests a range of tasty options for dine-in, pick-up, and delivery. From classic faves like the Hot Chicken Tacos to new Korean-inspired eats like the Pa Dak Sando (chicken, soy sauce, house mayo, pickle, slaw, green onion, chilli powder, & bun) or the Veggie Sando (vegan patty, vegan mayo, pickles and slaw), the only problem you’ll have is choosing.
βWeβre thrilled to have found a new home for Frying Pan in the West End and look forward to introducing ourselves to the neighbours,β says Sunny Jung.

And that’s all we’ve got for now, everyone. Mark your calendars & stay tuned via their socials for all the deets!
