So whether you’re looking for a haunted night out on the town or want to catch a horror film on the silver screen, here are 6 spooky events to check out in Vancouver this Friday the 13th.

Haunted Harvest Community Fair

Carve a pumpkin, trick-or-treat, and enjoy candle apples and games at the Haunted Harvest Community Fair at Kitch Beach Coffee. Guests can enjoy family-friendly activities from 4 to 7 p.m.

Superstition Soiree

If you’re looking for a more spiritual experience, consider checking out this Superstition Soiree, hosted by Brella Entertainment. Participants will be welcomed with a special performance by an experimental live band and intention-setting, followed by even more live music and dance performers, live tattoo demos, insights from Oracle and Angelic Readers, and a Tea Oracle & Ceremony.

Friday the 13th at The Rio

The Rio’s Friday Late Night series continues on Friday the 13th with a screening of, you guessed it, FRIDAY THE 13th – AKA one of the greatest slasher films of all time. Despite countless sequels and reboots, the film remains one of the longest-running film franchises ever, and you can catch it all onscreen at Vancouver’s favourite independent theatre.
