The best part is that there’s no limit to how many times you can attend.

Free Third Tuesdays at The ROM

Bring your friends and family to The ROM on the third Tuesday night of each month for a free museum visit from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM! This monthly offer includes free access to all of the galleries and exhibitions at the museum including free admission to The ROM’s special exhibitions Death: Life’s Greatest Mystery and Wildlife Photographer of the Year. 

There is no advanced booking necessary to attend, but admission does run on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Where: The Royal Ontario Museum, 100 Queens Park
When: Every third Tuesday of the month from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

AGO Free Wednesday Nights

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has a longstanding tradition of allowing the public to visit the gallery for free every Wednesday evening.

Free admission to all collection galleries runs from 6-9 PM on Wednesdays but tickets must be booked in advance online!

Every Monday, a limited number of free timed-entry tickets are released for the following Wednesday night with a limit of 4 tickets per booking.

Aga Khan Museum Free Wednesdays

The Aga Khan Museum also offers free admission to the public on Wednesday evenings from 4 PM to 8 PM.

No pre-registration is required, just show up in person to receive your free ticket and enjoy!

When: Wednesdays from 4 PM to 8 PM

MOCA Free Friday Nights

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has a Free Friday Nights tradition that brings art lovers together on everyone’s favourite night of the week.

Visitors are invited to celebrate contemporary art and community and enjoy live performances, installations, pop-ups, activations, and more.

You can book your spot in advance to guarantee entry or drop in on the day. The last time slot for entry is 8:45 PM.

When: Fridays from 5 PM to 9 PM

Bata Shoe Museum Access Sundays

Toronto’s iconic shoe museum is open to all visitors (and shoe lovers) for free on Sundays.

Explore the BSM’s nearly 15,000 artifacts, learn about the fascinating history of footwear, and participate in educational activities, all for free every Sunday. Advanced tickets are not required, but BSM does recommend it!

When: Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM

Gardiner Museum Free Wednesdays

Toronto’s Gardiner Museum is free for everybody on Wednesday evenings after 4 PM.

Free entry on Wednesdays also includes special exhibitions! No need to reserve, just show up and enjoy.

Plus, the museum is always free for all students with valid IDs, youth under 18, and Indigenous Peoples.
