A new cross-border bus route has arrived in our city. FlixBus has announced its newest line between Toronto and Detroit, with stops in several Ontario cities along the way.

The Toronto-Detroit route will kick off this Thursday, March 2nd, making it the third line between Canada and the U.S. since its launch last year.

Buses will run between the two cities five days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday.

The route will begin at Toronto’s Union Station and make stops in Scarborough, Hamilton, London, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor before arriving in Detroit.

It will “provide a much-needed expansion to the province’s cross-border service and a compelling new option for American travelers looking to explore the best Ontario has to offer,” the company said in a press release.

Earlier this month, a very similar bus service announced its return to Toronto.

Charter bus service Trailways, will resume its international route between Toronto and Detroit this April, starting at $45 per trip.

Travelers can expect these low-emission motor coaches to feature complimentary wi-fi, onboard restrooms, and seating for persons with disabilities.

Detroit is a unique and fun place to visit, not just for its city life but also for its spectacular penguin oasis, which is described as the best in the world.

And thanks to these new bus services, getting there has never been so affordable!
