Look for the light: 12 Alberta locations featured in ‘The Last of Us’

While watching HBO’s The Last Of Us, we’ve laughed, screamed, squirmed and cried (far more than we’d like to admit), but some of the show’s biggest, best and most dramatic scenes are still yet to come. Until then, however – why not take a walk down memory lane?

Based on an ultra-popular video game of the same name, The Last Of Us follows Joel, a hardened smuggler who is tasked with escorting a young girl across post-apocalyptic America.

Shot entirely in Alberta, the hit series has received critical acclaim and has featured a ton of well-known locations.

Here are just a few we’ve seen so far:
