There’s a four-week Filipino night market coming to Toronto for the holidays, and it’s free to attend! What better way to do some Christmas shopping than with some delicious treats in hand? PASKO Filipino Holiday Artisan Night Market will have it all – unique gifts, traditional foods, handcrafted items, music and activities.
Running from November 22nd to December 22nd, 2024, the night market is conveniently located along one of Toronto’s most bustling streets, Queen Street West.
According to Dictionary.com, Pasko means “Christmas” and comes from the Spanish word Pascua.
The soft launch of the night market is this weekend, November 22nd to 24th. For the soft launch, the hours of the market will be 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the 22nd, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on the 23rd and 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on the 24th.
“Get ready for an extraordinary Filipino cultural experience in the heart of Toronto!” shares the PASKO Filipino Holiday Artisan Night Market.
The vendors will range from artisanal crafts, gourmet foods, holiday gifts, and traditional Filipino baked goods. Not only will there be vendors, but there will be interactive experiences, too.
Visitors can take part in traditional cooking demos and other workshops that will be announced soon.
Be sure to arrive early if you’re planning on attending as the first 20 customers each day will receive a special PASKO gift bag!
The night market is located in Parkdale near the intersection of Queen West and Roncesvalles Ave, accessible by the Queen streetcar.
Admission is free so just bring a shopping bag and a pal and get ready for an amazing holiday experience.
