Enjoy dinner & a skate on a romantic rooftop ice rink in Calgary this winter

There are few things Calgarians love more than city views and skating rinks in the wintertime and this season, you’ll be able to take in a bit of both at the Marriott Hotel Downtown.

High above the city streets, guests are now able to enjoy a one-hour glide on their icy rooftop terrace as long as their time slot has not exceeded 10 people but here’s the catch.

Because it is on the smaller, more private side, only those checked into the hotel will be able to lace up, unless they’ve purchased a date and skate package.

This delicious experience will be available to the general public in the very near future and will include a meal for two at ONE 18 EMPIRE as well as access to their most romantic amenity.

“We are still confirming the details, but we are looking to start this in the next few weeks!” they told Curiocity.

Of course, we’ll update you guys on this as more information comes to light!

In the meantime, if you’re interested in checking it out as a resident at the hotel, the Marriott will be observing the Restriction Exemption Program so be sure to have your proof of vaccination and your own pair of skates.

Enjoy, friends and happy coasting!
