This Albertan outdoor lifestyle and apparel brand just opened a new store in DT YYC

You know Elements, right? Our go-to retailer for all outdoor apparel and accessory needs? Yes, the one who happens to be Western Canada’s largest dealer of Patagonia and Filson products? Well, they now have a brand new store in the heart of downtown Calgary, Elements Outfitters.

Set up on Stephen Avenue, the store opened its doors to the public on Saturday, November 19th, 2022.

This happens to be the third Elements store in town and the second Elements Outfitters. If you’re trying to figure out the math, the Patagonia store on 8th Avenue SW that you love is their sister store.

That is essentially the difference between the two. While the Patagonia store primarily houses Patagonia products (obvio), Elements Outfitters, particularly their downtown location is Filson-focused. The new downtown store does house other brands like Devold, Hooké, and Calgary Heritage Roasting Co. among others.

Be it sturdy jackets and flannels, functional backpacks, warm-inducing coffee, or anything else you need for your outdoor adventure, the store has you covered. And of course, it all comes with the Filson and Elements standard of quality. So, they’ll probably live longer than you do.

Interestingly, this new store is right down the street (a minute’s walk) from Patagonia Calgary. Meaning, you can easily navigate between the two.

Whether it is to live your outdoorsy dreams or to find the perfect gift for the outdoor enthusiast in your life, this Stephen Avenue store is the place for you.
