Happy Sunday, folks! Ready for another roundup of the things to do in Edmonton this week? Sure you are- you wouldn’t be reading this otherwise. Well regardless, we think that there are a few great options for you to check out this week in the city.

Here are 8 things to do this week in Edmonton.

Fleetwood Mac

Finally, Fleetwood Mac is playing Edmonton. It’s been a long time coming, with a couple of delays here and there, but the iconic rock band’s concert is sure to be one of the best of year.

When: Tuesday, November 12
Where: Rogers Place
Tickets: $89.50

City and Colour

He’s got a new album coming out, and your ticket gets you access to either a CD or a digital copy. That, plus his staying power in the genre, makes this a must-see concert for any indie fan.

When: Wednesday, November 13
Where: Rogers Place
Tickets: $51.45

Edmonton Oilers

The Oilers play against the Avalanche this week… meaning a clash between the two hottest teams so far this year. With the Avalnache missing a couple of key players, the Oilers should be able to take it home.

When: Thursday, November 14
Where: Rogers Arena
Tickets: $65

Stags’ Leap Winery Tastemaker Dinner

It’s an open secret that Stags’ Leap is one of the most prestigious wineries in North America. The evening includes a five-course meal Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and 5 pairings of the wineries best offerings.

When: November 14
Where: Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Tickets: $200

DJ Pauly D

Kind of a joke idea, but hey, this is your chance to see a member of the Jersey Shore tear the club down. We just wonder if his music taste has evolved since 2010.

When: Friday, November 15
Where: Union Hall
Tickets: $53

Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Fairmont Hotel MacDonald has its annual tree lighting ceremony this week, and it should be a doozy. Plus, they’ve got a ginger bread house that is 20 feet and 18 feet high to check out. Now that’s ludicrous.

When: Friday, November 15
Where: Fairmont Hotel MacDonald
Cost: Free!

Mesmerica 360

Oh yeah, 40 minutes of the steel drum set to fractal animations? If that’s not a starter kit for a great weekend, then we have no idea what it.

When: Friday, November 15
Where: TELUS World of Science
Tickets: $42

2019 Edmonton Urban Design Awards

So you’re feeling extra fancy this week? Then head to the urban design awards and rub shoulders with the city’s cultural elite. Just toss around words like Bauhaus, Le Corbusier and neo-brutalism and you’ll be cruising.

When: Friday, November 15
Where: City Hall
Tickets: $15

And that’s our round-up of the best things to do this week in Edmonton! Personally, we think we’re going to check out the Fleetwood Mac concert and the urban design awards. How about you?
