A look inside the most expensive home for sale in Edmonton
It’s been a while since we’ve talked about real estate, so we thought we should take a peek at the most expensive home for sale in Edmonton. And boy, did it turn out to be an absolute doozy. At a cool $8.5M, this one fits in better in the Hamptons than Alberta.
But hey, we’re not complaining. Let’s check it out.
The brick exterior and English manor architecture would have you believe that this is a heritage home. Nope, it turns out that it was constructed in 1998. But that’s a good thing- you won’t have to worry about replacing century-old pipes any time soon.
The home itself is massive, with a whopping 19000(!!) square feet for the future owners to mess around in. Sure, there are 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, but we’re way more interested in everything else that was put in there.
Like the media room, the butler’s pantry and the indoor pool (with hot tub). This is described as a ‘generational estate’ and we can see why- we could probably fit three generations of a family in here and still have room left over.
Of course, the home is in Westbrook Estates and sits on the ravine as well. That’s good news for us- we wouldn’t want our neighbours peeking over the fence when we host our summer cigar and brandy parties.
