McDonald’s is giving free coffee to educators nationwide for World Teachers’ Day
There’s nothing like a free cup of joe to start the day, so we’re letting those working in education know about a new offer from McDonald’s. On World Teachers’ Day, October 5th, teachers and education support staff nationwide can swing by McDonald’s for a free cup of coffee or tea.
The gesture is a ‘small expression of immense gratitude’ from McDonald’s, who did a similar thing for frontline workers earlier this year. And while it is small, we do like this new trend of freebies for those deserving of them every once in a while.
With many of McDonald’s dining rooms now open, we’d like to welcome you back inside. We’ve made some changes so you can feel comfortable to take a seat and enjoy your faves. See you soon! pic.twitter.com/GHLlYRi1Ga

There’s no real mention of how to confirm your status, so we’re thinking that the offer is pretty open-access. But, you should know that it’s not available with kiosks, mobile orders and delivery options. So, don’t be asking your DoorDash driver for cashback when they drop it off.
