6 great new restaurants that came to Edmonton in 2020
Howdy folks! We thought it would be a good time to let you know about the newest restaurants that have opened up in Edmonton. There is no better time to support your local restaurants so here is a list of who has opened their doors in one way or another.
Here are 6 new spots for great food in Edmonton.
Opening up for take-out this place has all your favourite Mexican staples covered and then some. Located on Stony Plain Road this place is the essence of Mexican street food. Closed Sundays but open Monday to Saturday.

If you’re looking for great coffee the search ends here! Get a classic espresso or something fancy like a Christmas Latte featuring Gingerbread and Mocha mint syrups from Mojo Jojos Pickles. It’s about time downtown Edmonton got a great coffee shop. They’re open M-F from 7-2 each day so stop by go say hi!

Edmonton’s first licensed lakeside patio in Hawrelak Park is open for breakfast, snacks and some tasty handhelds. While public skating is open so are they so lace up your skates and fill your belly for a great night out.

This French culinary experience is located in the heart of Garneau. All of their items are baked fresh every morning and you can get some of the classic French food dishes you might have always wanted to try. Ratatouille, tourtieres and Duck Confit? Yes please!
Hours: Daily, 9AM-9PM
Where: 10926 88 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB
While not technically a new restaurant but they did add outposts in southwest Edmonton and in Spruce Grove. They offer delivery and take-out and with weekly specials and new featured pizza you won’t be running out of menu items to try any time soon!

Another popular restaurant offshoot, but with a few more options. Bodega is a new concept from the folks at Sabor, and offers a variety of Spanish sandwiches, treats, and pantry options. Swing by for lunch, or head over to stock up on appetizers for your next big meal.
