Howdy folks! We’ve got a little something for the cinephiles out there. Instead of binging Netflix this weekend, you can catch a few classic horror flicks at Metro Cinema. This weekend’s lineup includes some big-ticket names, underground options, and everything in between.

First off, you’re not allowed to show Halloween movies without tossing The Exorcist in there. So, fans of the all-time great horror film can watch it Thursday night. If anything, we’re surprised that they didn’t schedule more showings of it.

But, they’ve got a great selection of other options. Personally, we’re very into their annual Metro Halloween Mash. This year, the double-bill features two iconic films from the 70s. Things kick off with the Shakespeare-influenced Theatre of Blood. Then, watch Christopher battle a frozen monster on a train in Horror Express.

There are a couple more movies to check out this weekend, but those two are definitely our top picks. If you’re comfortable sitting in basically an empty theatre this Halloween (spooky), then keep this option in mind!
