While every kid loves Christmas, the holiday season can be an especially stressful time with its bright lights, large crowds and general chaos. So, the sensory friendly Santa experience being offered at the Kingsway Mall is the perfect chance to capture holiday magic without overloading the little ones.

Having run for over 5 years, this by registration program will see the Kingsway mall transformed into a sensory friendly wonderland. The lighting will be dimmed and music will be turned off to offer a calming environment for those visiting Santa.

Plus, visitors will be given extended time to hang out with Santa and get holiday pictures. Basically, the Kingsway Mall wants to ensure that it is as inclusive as possible this holiday season. We don’t know about you, but we think it’s a pretty caring step to take.

If you’d like to sign up for this free event, you can do so via Kingsway Mall’s Guest Services. They are currently two dates, but more will be made available if those fill up.

Happy holidays!
