Telus World of Science to host ‘LUMEN Kitchen Party’ next month

Looking for a unique night in? Then, you might want to keep the upcoming LUMEN Kitchen Party, put on by the Telus World of Science, on your radar. This year’s iteration of the annual fundraiser looks a little different, but should be more than worth your while.
What’s a ‘kitchen party’? Apparently, it’s a time-honoured tradition in Eastern Canada that features music, activities and food. Luckily, all three of those things will be on full display at LUMEN as well.

For music, you’ve got artists like Brett Kissel and JJ Wilde performing via live stream. And activities? There are (food-related) science experiments and a silent auction to look forward to. Finally, there are dinner packages available from RGE RD and Guru that will truly turn the night into dinner and a show.
And while you’re eating, you can feel good knowing that you’re supporting science in Edmonton! It’s a double whammy, and way more fun than simply ordering in off SkipTheDishes. That’s what we’d be doing on a Friday night, anyway.
