Scavenger hunts & brunch: Here’s how Grouse Mountain is celebrating Easter

Ready to make some long weekend plans? Grouse Mountain Resort is celebrating Easter with a variety of family-friendly activities and events taking place from Friday, March 29th to Monday, April 1st. Best of all? The mountain resort is offering reduced admission rates for children!

Visitors can start their day with a brunch buffet with panoramic views, followed by crafts in the Bunny Burrow in the Chalet and Easter movies in The Theatre in the Sky.

“We have something for everyone at Easter on the Peak,” says Madelaine Twomey, Communications Manager at Grouse Mountain Resort. “Whether you’re a thrill-seeker looking to hit the slopes, or you’re looking for some fun activities perfect for the whole family to enjoy, we’ve got you covered.”

Here are some of the Easter-themed activities families can enjoy over the long weekend:

  • Buffet Brunch from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday ($30 per adult, $5 per child)
  • Easter Bunny and Easter Fairy from 10 am to 2:30 pm on Friday and Saturday (in the Chalet)
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Light Walk from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday
  • Ski or Ride Scavenger Hunt from 9 am to close from Friday to Monday
  • Easter Movies in at the Theatre in the Sky from 9:30 am to 8 pm from Friday to Monday
  • Bunny Burrow from 10 am to 4 pm in the Chalet from Friday to Monday

Visitors can also throw on a couple of snowshoes and explore the Mountain’s trails, take a spin around the outdoor skating pond, or ride the famed Skyride.

Note that all activities are included in the price of a Mountain Admission Ticket, Lift Ticket, or valid Grouse Mountain Pass.

When it comes to reduced rates for families, Child Mountain Admission tickets over the long weekend will drop to $10 per child, with 50% of ticket sales donated to Family Services of the North Shore.

Note that this offer is available online only – so be sure to book your tickets in advance!
