Looking for something different to do next month? You’ll be happy to know that Edmonton’s Drive-In Opera is returning to celebrate the end of winter! The popular show’s last instalment actually sold out over Christmas, so we’re letting you know early.
Singers from the Edmonton Opera’s Emerging Artists Studio will be performing a 45-minute concert directly from the roof of the Jubilee Auditorium. This time around, they’ll be focusing on music that celebrates spring. We’re not well versed in opera songs, so we can’t really recommend anything for the set.

While the opera can be heard from the parking lot, the concert will also be broadcast via radio to your car. It’s a weird setup, listening on the radio to opera singers on the roof of a building in real time. But, that’s why we like the idea so much.
