A huge street festival is taking over a busy Toronto street this spring

One of Toronto’s favourite street-wide celebrations is returning to Dundas Street W. this June. Known as “Toronto’s official start to summer,” Do West Fest (formerly Dundas West Fest) brings three days of springtime fun to the west end.

Mark your calendars for June 6, 2025, as the beloved street festival that takes over a stretch of Dundas Street W. returns.

What to expect at Do West Fest

For three days, enjoy musical performances, art installations, local businesses, artisan vendors, and so much more. The best part? It’s free to explore!

According to Do West Fest organizers, last year’s event saw an estimated attendance of 750,000 people. So needless to say, it’s going to be huge.

“Since our humble start, the festival has been growing yearly and we have built a reputation as a culturally rich festival that celebrates local talent while showcasing cutting-edge international artistic projects,” shares organizers.

“There is a fresh hip vibe along the street with many young artists and entrepreneurs jostling and interacting with the old guard in lively and curious ways.”

Just like in 2024, the festival will take over 16 blocks along Dundas Street W., from Ossington Avenue to Lansdowne Avenue.

The Do West Fest has been a community staple for 12 years, according to organizers. Every year, it gets even better.

At the moment, there is a call out for vendors and musicians who want to participate in this year’s festivities.

We can’t wait for the return of warmer weather and all the food-filled festivals that come with it. If you want to plan ahead, we’ve compiled a list of springtime festivals coming up for Toronto very soon.

Can you tell we’re excited? See you at Do West Fest, friends.
