Toronto’s Distillery Winter Village just made a big announcement

We have been gearing up for spooky season lately, but I am interrupting that with some big news. Toronto’s original and world-famous Christmas Market, The Distillery Winter Village, just released its 2025/2026 dates, and tickets are already on sale.

“The 2025 season kicks off Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. with the most anticipated holiday tradition in the country – the lighting of Canada’s most iconic Christmas tree,” shares The Distillery Winter Village.

Tickets for this season’s festivities start at $15 per attendee. For any of the market’s peak times, you will need a ticket.

Peak times include opening night, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after 4 p.m., Thursdays in December after 4 p.m., and daily from Dec. 15 to 31. Children ages nine and under get in for free at all times.

While it may seem like we’re eager (okay, well, I am), the Distillery Winter Village is recognized globally as one of the best Christmas markets, bringing in a whopping one million visitors annually. This means you’re going to want to secure you’re spot as early as possible.

“We know it’s early to be talking about the holidays, but we wanted to give Toronto an early Christmas present by launching tickets today so everyone can start planning their visit,” says Rik Ocvirk, vice president of the Distillery Restaurants Corp. and director of experiences and events at the Distillery Historic District.

“Many of The Distillery Winter Village favourites are back this year – from Santa’s Village to the Naughty or Nice Bar to our famous photo ops; but we’ve also got some exciting new experiences in store that we can’t wait to share when we announce the full line-up next month.”

So, we’ll keep you updated on everything new coming, but until then, get those tickets and start your holiday countdown!
