A FREE Diwali celebration is lighting up Seattle Center this fall
The celebration is both free and open to the public. What’s more, the celebration has been taking place at Seattle Center for 20 years! In 1998, a group of volunteers began their own Dia de Los Muertos in South Park and in 2003 it moved to the Center.
Today, volunteers who believe in preserving and sharing the celebration continue their mission of “enriching the cultural value to the community and the Puget Sound at large.” So, if you’re curious to learn about other cultures and their celebrations, be sure to mark your calendar for this.
