Fright fest: Calgary’s 12-hour horror movie marathon returns this Halloween

Shotgun a Red Bull and tape those eyes open! The Calgary Underground Film Festival has just announced the return of their iconic 12-hour Halloween movie marathon and as always, you’re not going to want to miss it.

Back for another year of madness, CIFF’s haunting extravaganza is one of the Globe Theatre’s most anticipated events of the year.

Set to kick off on Saturday, October 29th, catch a macabre program that features both classic and under-the-radar films, all in celebration of horror, insomnia and popcorn.

Featuring costumes and fellow film-lovers, guests can expect a surprisingly high-energy crowd, a bar (which will be open until 2 am) and a ton of surprises, giveaways and games throughout the evening – so get ready and stay ready.
