A new Costco warehouse just opened near Toronto with week-long deals

Looks like a drive to Newmarket is in order because a brand new Costco Wholesale location just opened up in the area.

As of Aug. 20, 2025, GTA residents can now make their way to the brand-new warehouse, located at 107 Harry Walker Pkwy. S., just west of Highway 404 near Davis Drive.

According to the Costco team, the new warehouse is a relocation of the original Newmarket warehouse, which was located at 18182 Yonge St. for over 20 years.

“With the relocation of our Newmarket warehouse, we can continue to serve all of our members in Newmarket and the surrounding area, and bring new consumers and businesses to uncover the benefits of a Costco membership,” said Gino Dorico, senior vice-president and country manager, Costco Wholesale Canada.

“We are very proud to share this new, larger location with our valued existing and new members in the local community and throughout the area.”

What’s inside the new location

The new store spans 166,000 square feet and features wide aisles and an extensive selection of food offerings. Not only will you find its on-site bakery, fresh meat section, and rotisserie chicken section, but it also has a fresh sushi bar — the third of its kind in Canada.

And of course, there is an expansive produce area, a hearing aid centre, an optical centre, five tire centre bays, a large food court, and a gas station with 24 pumps.

In honour of its opening week, the Costco location is offering promotions on select items like $400 off an LG 86-inch 4K TV, $35 off AAA whole beef tenderloin, and a number of other items that are exclusive to this warehouse opening.

The new location also sells beer, wine, champagne, and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages.

“Many Newmarket residents have been excited about the new, highly anticipated, full-service Costco in Newmarket,” said Newmarket Mayor John Taylor.
