Here’s a look at concerts coming to the CNE this summer

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is just around the corner, and by the looks of it, it’s going to be an unforgettable summer of music. Behind-the-scenes work is underway for the annual event, but the team is giving us a little taste of who we can expect to take the CNE Bandshell stage this year.

The first set of headliners performing at the beloved concert experience has been announced. First up will be Grammy award-winning Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco, who will perform on opening day, Aug. 21, 2026

Other major headliners gracing the stage this year include:

  • Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026: LIGHTS
  • Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026: Shaggy
  • Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026: The Trews
  • Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026: Silverstein
  • Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026: Tom Cochrane

More artists will be announced in the coming months. And expect it to be a stunning lineup of acts, considering the CNE has five music stages, including the newly added NXNE Stage.

This stage will showcase breakout artists, in partnership with the NXNE Music Festival & Conference, and the CNE Bandshell stage. In partnership with Billboard Canada and Rolling Stone Canada, this year, the beloved stage is actually being renamed the Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell.

“The Bandshell has been the heartbeat of Canadian music for 90 years. Nine decades of artists, genres, and generations, all on this one stage,” says Mark Holland, CNE CEO.

“This summer, we’re not just celebrating that legacy, we’re expanding it. Partnering with Billboard Canada and Rolling Stone Canada to reimagine what this stage means is how we ensure music becomes an even bigger part of what the CNE means to Canadians. We can’t wait to welcome fans back to the grounds.”

And new this year for music lovers, the CNE is offering a Front Row VIP Experience add-on option. This gets added to their admission ticket that includes a reserved front-of-stage viewing area of the Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell. They will also get access to the VIP Lounge and amenities, a dedicated VIP bar and a complimentary drink ticket. Not too shabby!

But as always, the concerts are free to enjoy with CNE admission. Can’t wait for the CNE? You can get your hands on advance tickets with discounts of up to 35 per cent if purchased by Aug. 20.

The countdown is on! See you at the CNE this summer, Toronto.
