The 12th annual Cineplex Community Day is almost here. Returning to theatres across Canada, this day will offer a morning of free movies and gaming with cheap concessions!
Community Day takes place next weekend on Saturday, September 14th at Cineplex, The Rec Room, and Playdium.
According to Cineplex, this year, XSCAPE arcade gaming, located within select theatres, will also be free for attendees to enjoy before their movie.
It’s all for a good cause!
Cineplex donates the funds raised from the day to BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada), “to support the organization’s vital programs and services that empower Canada’s next generation.”
On Saturday, September 14th, participating Cineplex theatres across the country will offer a morning of free movies starting at 9 am to 11 am.
At that time, select concessions will be available at the discounted price of $3!
Additionally, thirty-minute non-redemption XSCAPE Play Cards will also be available at participating theatres for guests at that time.
The Rec Room and Playdium will also offer a morning of free non-redemption gaming between 9 am and 11 am with each guest receiving a one-hour game band upon entry, according to cineplex.
“Select locations will also offer attractions including bowling, ping pong, pool and more. One dollar from every food and beverage order and game band purchase from the entire day will support BGC Canada,” they state.
Tickets for reserved seats are available online, and here’s what you can watch:
Be sure to grab tickets soon! And as per Cineplex, “advance online tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Additional tickets will be available in advance at your local theatre.”
See you at the movies!
