You can race down a 900-foot snow tubing hill not far from Toronto

Looking for your next outdoor adventure? Chicopee Tube Park is one of the best places to snow tube in Ontario! With Family Day coming up, a day spent down six different chutes doesn’t sound too shabby. Here’s what to know.

Just a drive away from the city, located in Kitchener, Ont., is where you’ll find the snow tube park. The commute should take you just over an hour by car.

The drive will be totally worth it because that means you’ll get to speed down 250-foot-tall chutes, running 900 feet long. Talk about a fun and exhilarating winter adventure.

Whether you decide to walk up the hills or use the magic carpet conveyor belt to get up the slopes, the real reward is flying back down at full speed, over and over again.

Hungry yet? You probably will be! Thankfully, there’s a chalet with delicious snacks to replenish your energy! The chalet operates during tubing hours and has classic selections such as burgers, fries, pizza and of course, poutine.

Now, to plan your trip. Chicopee Tube Park is open on the following days:

  • Thursday: 4 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 1 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Family Day 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Tuesday and Wednesday: CLOSED

Tickets can be purchased online for $34 plus tax per person. Each session is for 90 minutes, and you must choose a timeslot ahead of your trip.

Helmet rentals are available, priced at $12 each and are required for any riders ages 12 and under. All tubers must also fill out a waiver before they hit the hill. To participate, you have to be at least 42 inches tall and at least four years old.

You’re in for an exciting adventure!
