Chasing Summer to return to Calgary with new ‘Family Reunion’ Festival this August

2020 was a bust, but we’re back folks! The sunny season is in full swing and celebrations like Chasing Summer have returned with reimagined events, live music and another opportunity to make up for lost time.

Despite announcing back in May that this year’s concert series would not go ahead, the organization has had a change of heart, posting a BIG announcement on their Instagram this week.

Chasing Summer: Family Reunion is a brand new concept that will completely take over Calgary’s Shaw Millenium Park for two whole days this August.

As always, they’ve partnered with Blueprint and Live Nation, the group behind other wild weekenders like Bonaroo and Beyond Wonderland, to bring us a huge lineup of well-known artists known to the EDM space.

Now, they haven’t actually announced who will take the stage at their first-ever ‘Family Reunion,’ but we can’t imagine that it’ll be anything short of incredible, after all, previous artists at Chasing Summer have included Marshmello, Kygo, Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers. Not bad, hey?

Presale tickets are expected to go on sale soon, so follow them on Instagram below or check back here for more updates!

It’s going to be a crazy month, Calgary – prepare yourselves!
