Now that late summer is here, it’s prime time to get outdoors and enjoy all our city has to offer especially because Caribbean Sea Fest is coming to downtown Seattle’s waterfront this weekend. Get ready to celebrate, learn and enjoy some stunning views. Here’s when and what to expect from the annual festival.
Caribbean Sea Fest takes place for one day only on Sunday, August 13th at Seattle’s Pier 62. The festival is all about celebrating the Pacific Northwest’s Caribbean community. It’s also a space for those interested in learning about and experiencing “Caribbean cultural expressions.”

The day is full of cultural performances, expression, and exchange. There is something for everyone from dance to speeches, sports, folklore, and more. Events range from capoeira to double Dutch to DJ sets.
Beyond events, there will also be food although the event has not disclosed which restaurants and vendors will be participating. So mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy a day full of celebrating and learning about Seattle’s Caribbean community.
