Happy 25th Capitol Hill Block Party! Oh yes, one of the biggest music festivals in Seattle of the year is back for 2023.
While technically the fest’s 25th anniversary happened during the pandemic break, this is the 25th year the party will take over the city’s hippest hood. And because the epic music fest is celebrating its silver anniversary (of sorts), the celebration this year is going to be bigger and better.
Like years past, the midsummer music fest is spread over three days starting Friday, July 21st to Sunday, July 23rd, 2023. That is three whole days of electrifying music, super-talented artists, food trucks and insane excitement.
Taking over the Pike/Pine corridor, the Daydream State-produced festival will feature nine stages. These include the Main Stage at Broadway and East Pike Street, the Vera Stage on 11th and other intimate venues like Cafe Racer, Wild Rose, Barboza, Neumos, Cha Cha, Havana, and Chophouse Row.

Talking about the block party, Kate Harris, Sponsorship Director & Associate Producer, said, “What began as a one-day event with just five bands and a couple of DJs in 1997 has grown into three days with over 100 performers and thousands of attendees. We’re excited to celebrate this 25-year milestone and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone this year.”
The 2023 Capitol Hill Block Party will see A-List headliners like Sofi Tukker, Denzel Curry, Louis the Child, Pinkpantheress, Goth Babe and Madeon. Alongside will be much-loved local talent including Acid Tongue, DJ/producer Samurai Del, Sea Lemon, Talaya and many more.
