Attention, hockey fans! The Edmonton Oilers may have come out on top during last night’s game against the Vancouver Canucks with a surprise “last-minute goal” – but that doesn’t mean our spirits are broken. In fact, this just fuels our fire even more as we approach Game 5 of the Canucks vs Oilers playoffs on Thursday, May 16th – which is back on home turf!
So whether you’re hoping to snag tickets or catch the game at a watch party, we’re here to break it all down. Here’s where to watch Game 5 of the Canucks vs Oilers playoffs in Metro Vancouver.
Currently, Game 5 tickets range from $383.57 to $630 for Verified Resale Tickets, and $572 to $750+ for Standard Tickets.
Before the game, fans can head to the Toyota Party on the Plaza at Rogers Arena to enjoy a beer garden, live entertainment, and a range of family-friendly activities.
The party will start three hours before the puck drop for each home game this series, which means you have multiple opportunities to celebrate alongside fellow fans.

If you’d rather join fellow fans at a free, family-friendly watch party, both home and away games are being shown at Oak Meadows Park (899 West 37th Avenue), including on Thursday, May 16th.
There will also be a free viewing party at The Shipyards in North Van (125 Victory Ship Way) at 7 pm,

Finally, two anticipated viewing events are planned for elsewhere in Metro Vancouver: One family-friendly watch party at Delta’s Social Heart Plaza and one at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.
Finally, you can always hit up one or a couple of sports bars, or head to Parq Vancouver for some game-day specials.
If we make it through Game 5, the next two games in the series will be on Saturday, May 18th and Monday, May 20th.
