If you’ve got a major sweet tooth, prepare yourself for the ultimate outdoor candy-themed festival this winter. The Yaletown BIA is transforming Bill Curtis Square and Helmcken Plaza into ‘Candytown,’ complete with carriage rides, live performers, and much more. Let’s get into it.
The 10th anniversary of Candytown is set to be one for the books. Visitors can roam the decorated streets with holiday characters and stilt walkers, enjoy a by-donation horse carriage ride, and peruse the Gift Market filled with unique gifts and holiday treats – courtesy of the Yaletown Gift Passport.
According to the Yaletown BIA, candy canes and lights will adorn street lamps and guests can take part in carolling to get in the Yuletide mood!
So, get ready to walk arm and arm with your loved ones in Yaletown’s own Winter Wonderland.
