Here are all the changes coming to Canada’s Wonderland this year

Spring is here and that means we’re inching closer and closer to the season opening at Canada’s Wonderland. While we wait in excitement for May to roll around, there are a few changes coming to our beloved amusement park this year. Here’s what to know.

Canada’s Wonderland officially opens its doors on May 3rd, 2024, but before they do that, the amusement park grounds is undergoing a few upgrades, renovations, and makeovers.

And they’re enough to get us excited for what’s to come.

In a very informative Tiktok, Canada’s Wonderland dove into the details as to what park goers can expect, giving an exclusive look at all the current construction under progress.

What are the changes?

Here’s what to expect at Canada’s Wonderland this year:

  • New entrance underneath Leviathan; Guests will not enter through the plaza like usual
  • The Wonderland store is being renovated and expanded
  • Extreme Skyflyer has ben removed after 26 years
  • Moosehorn Falls will open for the first time at the water park this May (Splash Works opens May 25 and Moosehorn Falls, a giant boomerang water slide will debut)
  • The Backlot Cafe is undergoing renovations and a makeover
  • Viking’s Rage is going electrical this season
  • There will be a new VIP lounge for prestige pass holders
  • New changes to Wonder Mountain area such as the removal of buildings in Alpen area
  • Tiny Tom’s will be in a new location

And according to the TikTok, more announcements will be made in relation to the construction, this April. We can’t wait!

Needless to say, we’re excited to see all these changes come to flourish!
