Canada’s largest floating water park is in Ontario and here’s when it opens

Did you know that Ontario is home to Canada’s largest floating water park? SplashON has two locations in the province, and they’re opening for the season very soon. Here’s what to know.

Splash ON is a giant floating playground known as the most interactive water experience around. They’re gearing up to welcome waterpark fans for a hot summer season of fun in the next few weeks.

Where is it located?

There are two Ontario locations, one in Orillia and one in Barrie.

The Orillia location opened at Tudhope Park back in 2018 and has been a hit every year since. According to SplashON, this water is “shallower and more warm at this beach compared to others.”

It is filled with smaller features that are designed to be more approachable and perfect for younger kids.

As for the Barrie location, SplashON is located at Centennial Beach in downtown Barrie. This location opened in 2017 and is the largest inflatable water park in Canada.

When does it open?

Mark your calendars! The Barrie location opens for the season on June 27 and the Orillia location on June 28.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $25. The minimum age to visit is five years old, and kids between five and eight will require an adult chaperone to be in the waterpark with them.

Now that we have you all excited, it’s time to plan your waterpark day!
