Canada’s largest houseboat for rent is in BC & it has a tube slide

Hello, getaway lovers! As it turns out, Canada’s largest houseboat for rent is right here in BC, and it’s chilling on one of our most iconic lakes. So if you’re looking for a fun trip idea with a group of pals but want to stay somewhat local, this is a great option.

While the Okanagan gets most of the summer love, there’s no denying that Columbia-Shuswap is a worthwhile destination as well. Especially because Shuswap Lake is easily one of the most popular ‘houseboating’ destinations in the entire country.

And if you’re making a trip out there for a little bit of fun in the sun, you might as well do it big. Like on what is claimed to be Canada’s largest houseboat for rent, the Legacy 94. Offered by Twin Anchors, this is less of a quaint cruiser, and more of a floating mansion.

On it, you’ll find a whopping 5,600 square feet of space spread across three massive decks. With 11 dedicated staterooms, the houseboat can comfortably sleep 22 people, with a max capacity of 28 thanks to a few sofa beds. Yeah, it’s that big.

When you’ve got that much space, you’re also going to need some amenities to go with it! From a full-sized hot tub to a 3-story tube slide, to multiple entertaining areas and a rooftop tanning area – you’re sure to find some here. Basically, everything you need to feel like you’re living the summer dream.

And while it doesn’t come cheap, it’s certainly more affordable than renting a yacht of the same size. Starting at $15,666 for 5 nights ($560 per person, maximum of 28 people), the largest houseboat in Canada can be yours for the ultimate pre-summer getaway. It’s also not the only one available to rent, so make sure to check out more options if you’re interested!
