The Canada Day long weekend is upon us, and if you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Canada day in Edmonton – then you’re in luck!

Edmonton’s ICE District will be hosting a massive Canada Day celebration, and it’s completely free to attend. ICE District Plaza and Fan Park @ ICE District will be undergoing a red and white transformation with outdoor games, snacks, and food trucks. Additionally, guests can enjoy bevvies of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties.

Headlining their Canada Day event will be country music star Tim Hicks taking the main stage in ICE District Plaza at 5 PM. Hicks’ performance will be followed by the all-female country music group Nice Horse and Taylor-Rae. It’s a chart-topping lineup that country music fans won’t want to miss!

Canada Day Edmonton

The Canada Day event @ ICE District is packed with activities for everyone to enjoy. Show off your skills at Fan Park with a game of drop-in basketball, pickleball, or street hockey. You can also entertain the kiddos at ICE District Plaza with inflatables, photo booths, face painting, and family-friendly performers.

Excited yet? This Canada Day extravaganza starts at 3 PM and ends at 10 PM, giving you plenty of time to attend the fireworks happening over the central River Valley at 11 PM.

Remember, admission to Canada Day in ICE District Plaza and Fan Park @ ICE District is completely free and doesn’t require tickets.
