Three Canadian venues ranked in top 100 clubs in the world

It’s official, Canada is home to some of the world’s best clubs. You read that right. One of electronic music’s best-loved brands, DJ Mag has released this year’s Top 100 Clubs and three Canadian venues made the cut.

For over 30 years, DJ Mag has been an influential name in the dance music scene in the UK and has now become a global leader in the genre.

Known for its Top 100 DJs and Top 100 Clubs polls, DJ Mag has released this years ranking on venues across the world.

From Spain to China, Taiwan to Greece, the world list highlights the best of the best. And Canada just so happens to claim three of them.

The first Canadian mention is Montreal’s Beachclub landing in 79th place. It dropped a few notches since last years list but nonetheless, it remained as a top Canadian choice.

Next is none other than Toronto’s Rebel Nightclub, coming in 93rd this year and is the only Toronto entry to make the cut.

And last but not least, is an industrial warehouse turned nightclub, New City Gas in Montreal, coming in 96th place.

Love them or hate them, if one thing is for sure, they are fan favourites and a go-to spot for EDM fans.
