This is it, the final hurrah. The last long weekend of summer. Between pounding hard iced tea and softly crying, we’ll be filling our time with some of the best things to do in Calgary for the weekend. You’re welcome to join, it’s gonna be a great time!

Sunflowers are love, sunflowers are life. Every influencer needs a pic, so bring a camera and enjoy the beautiful blooms at Cobb’s Corn Maze while you hang with baby kangaroos and sample from beer and wine tastings! Is there anything better? Nope, pretty sure there’s not.

National on 17th is going all out to be 17th Ave’s biggest and best Pride party location! Think rainbows, glittery beer, drag queens, dancing, and special events and activations all weekend!

If you’re not down to have a Much Music Video dance party on a rooftop patio, we don’t know if we can be friends. This party is gonna have all the throwback jams you could ever ask for, with an unreal Pride twist.

Brunch at The Guild is the perfect way to finish off your Calgary Parade Day celebrations! With $5 Bloody Caesars & Mimosas, plus a special brunch menu, this iconic spot under the Hudson’s Bay arches is cooking up an amazing spread.

The CFL season is in full swing! Whether you’re a football fan or not, attending a Stampeders football game is a unique experience you’ll want to check out. The Gridiron Gardens are back this year as your pre-game tailgate destination at McMahon. They’re bringing us new game themes, and best of all, new stadium food.

You can expect some high-flying trapeze acts and contortionists turning themselves (artfully) into human pretzels. There are also street-dancers, mind-blowing acrobatics, and more to keep you thoroughly entertained all night long. Apparently, there is also some heavy water integration into the Luzia show, so we’re very interested in seeing that!
