Ahh, February. The month of loooove. The shortest month of the year. And maybe the funnest? We know, we know– that’s not a word, but hear us out. There’s a lot of good stuff going on this month, so keep reading for 20 things you’ve gotta do in the next 28 days.

YYC Hot Chocolate Fest

The sweetest festival of the year is back! Participating cafés, restaurants and chocolatiers are competing for the title of YYC’s Best Hot Chocolate, Best Spirited Hot Chocolate and special Cup That Runneth Over. Don’t miss the chance to cast your vote!

Locked Library

If you’re as obsessed with the new library as we are, you might be finding it hard to escape those walls already. But things will only get harder come 2019 since our fave architectural gem is being transformed into an escape room this February!

Calgary Hitmen Corral Series

As if you needed a reason to support Junior Hockey more, the Calgary Hitmen will be paying homage to three historic Calgary teams this February. Hosting three consecutive home games in the historic Stampede Corral, the aptly named Corral Series is sure to be a hit for men and women alike!

Canmore Winter Festival

Get ready for two weeks of pure snowy fun. With indoor and outdoor events and experiences including ice carving competitions, kids’ ice carving, a pooch parade, World Cup biathlon races and Snowy Owl Kid N’ Mutt races, there’s never a dull moment.

Lunar New Year Festival 2019

It’s the Year of the Pig, baby, so we’re going ham on this party (sorry). Enjoy a marketplace, host performances, and lantern and firecracker displays!

Get rowdy at the Roughnecks Home Game

The only home game of the month for the Calgary Roughnecks is this Saturday. So, if you’re ready to let your weekend get rough and rowdy, this is your chance!

Flames home games galore

Glow Downtown Winter Light Festival

2019 Beltline Bonspiel

Outdoor curling tournament, live music, delicious food, and beer… what doesn’t the Beltline Bonspiel have? That’s right, nothing.

Lloyd’s Legacy Skate

Hosted by the Roller Recreation Association (RRA), the event’s inviting skaters of all skill levels to break it down at Don Hartman NE Sportsplex. They’re promising cruising, dancing, and some serious nostalgic feels, so this is one event you won’t wanna miss.

When: Saturday, February 16 @ 8 PM

Block Heater Festival

This fest’s all going down at Festival Hall, Studio Bell, the King Eddy, and the new Central Library. 28 local, Canadian and international artists will perform concerts and collaborative sessions on 6 stages, which means our ears are about to be positively blessed.

Snoop Dogg & Friends

Little Big Town
