12 Things To Do At Home And Around Calgary This Long Weekend (July 31 – Aug 3)

It’s here! As we’re sure you’re already aware, Friday kicks off Heritage Day long weekend, which means you have not one or two full days to pencil in exciting summer plans, you’ll have three! But what to do with them, hmmm? It’s ultimately your choice!, but, if you’re a tad stumped and need a few ideas, here are 12 things to do this long weekend in Calgary!

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR MANDATORY MASK SEASON

This might actually be the most important thing you do all weekend, Calgary! Now that masks are mandatory in all public buildings, you’re going to need a comfortable, reusable face covering. Maybe even several to match outfits and occasions, because who knows how long this will last!

CELEBRATE HERITAGE DAY BY TRAVELLING BACK IN TIME

Historic Calgary week continues on through this upcoming weekend, folks, consider checking it out! The annual tradition held by The Calgary Public Library and Chinook Country Historical Society typically celebrates the city’s rich history by making presentations and offering fun and informative tours in person. However, this year all events will take place online and can be enjoyed right from your living room!

GO ON A BEER VOYAGE ON LAKE MINNEWANKA
