Police engage in high speed chase with celebrity turkey through Beltline
It seems as though not everyone is adhering to the World Health Organization’s self-isolation, “stay indoors” recommendations. Turk, a wild turkey was spotted wandering the community of Beltline over the weekend, stopping at a bakery and a liquor store. How irresponsible of him.

The mischievous gobbler wandered off from his home in Ramsay, with absolutely no regard for the rules. Sure, he was seemingly supporting Calgary’s local businesses, but in spite of the quarantine order!
The cops eventually were called, but to their dismay, the feathered delinquent was too quick to catch.
After nearly 45 minutes, of resident entertainment, social media posts and the cops chasing him around downtown, they finally outsmarted the bird and took him home. Turk the Turkey is now safe and will be under the watchful eye of the authorities.
What a rascal.
