Plot Twist! Famous Panamount haunted house is approved once again

Sometimes even we’re surprised by how quickly things can change in this city, and we’re not talking weather. Just a week ago the Panamount Panic haunted house was shut down for the year and some were left devastated. The closure came after a complaint was made by a neighbor, but we guess they’ve come to an agreement. Panamount Panic haunted house has the go-ahead to spook the city of Calgary again this year.

There are no bones about it, we love a good return from the dead. A few changes will have to be made to the structure of the house, of course, but approval is all we’re worried about.

The city has requested that one side be cut down to prevent a blind spot from the street and that the inside now abides by fire code. Fair enough.

“We’ll manage to change it how they want so we can keep it and still manage to keep it as scary as possible and still as safe as possible,” organizer Quinn Motteram told Global News.

So let the tradition live on! We can’t wait to see you all out in Panorama this Halloween.
