Massive space in Telus Sky has been claimed by a Calgary company

The 60-storey Calgary TELUS Sky building has become somewhat of a skyline marvel. It’s slated to open to the public by the end of the month, but despite its exterior being heavily Instagrammed, the interior of the building looked like a ghost town. Until now!

Absorb Software, a local business that works with huge companies like Sony, Airbnb, and Tiffany & Co. is the very first company (other than Telus) to lease a large slice of the 80,000 square foot stratosphere-high-pie. This new office will consist of five whole floors of space for Absorb employees and access to a gym and coffee shops. Sounds pretty sweet, right?

The building is now 60 percent leased, so it still has a ways to go. Hopefully now with a company like Absorb, other, entities in need of a generous space will follow suit? Maybe Curiocity will post up on the top floor, who knows.

“When our own growth sent us searching for bigger office space, we knew the sky was the limit. We’re pleased to soon call the TELUS Sky tower home,” the company said on their Instagram.

The fanciful building will also be taking residential renters! The TELUS Sky tower will have 63 studio suites, 172 one-bedroom units (plus den), 69 two-bedroom units and 10 three-bedroom units.

The only question we have now is, who do we give our money to and when do we move in?
