Local businesses come together for 'toilet paper toss' to help those in need

You’ve heard of the Teddy Bear toss, but now in a time of grocery store shortages and self-isolation, get ready for the Toilet Paper toss!  You can ‘share a square’ with your neighbour, sans contact, thanks to the efforts of the local company Office Guardians.

Office Guardians have partnered with fellow Calgary businesses who have all been forced to close their doors, yet still have unused rolls of toilet paper in their offices. Because they’re a bunch of geniuses, they figured that it might be a good idea to have them donate it to people who are in need.

If you’re running low, and need some help, benefitting from the initiative is simple and safe! All you need to do drive to the location roll down your windows and their volunteer will hand you rolls of that donated good stuff. This will be done while 100% complying with the WHO’s social-distancing recommendations, so there’s nothing to worry about except for holding it until you’re armed with some Charmine and back at home.

Unfortunately, the company has yet to a date for the ‘toilet paper toss’ public, so until then, If you’d like to help by lending toiletries, you can check out their website here!
