Home of the Week: An actually affordable, completely renovated cutie
Hey there, Calgary! Welcome back to another Curiocity Calgary Home of the Week. This time around, we’ve got a beautifully renovated mid-century modern bungalow in Lakeview, which is giving us serious lake house vibes. Sans lake, of course. Let’s take a look!
CALGARY HOME OF THE WEEK
This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home has 2,868 square feet of space, and although it may have built in the 60s, we can assure you there’s nothing outdated about it.
This place has been renovated from what we can only assume was top to bottom, inside and outside, and now has this comfortable sweater weather-type magic. It’s interior and exterior are super cozy, and the tiling and dark wood/light wood mix is unique and warm.
Despite it looking pretty quaint from the outside, the inside is spacious and wide. The kitchen is open concept and the front living room is large and perfect for entertaining.
The other living room (a concept we’re unfamiliar with because we live in a studio apartment) is more exclusive. It’s very Swiss ski lounge meets mountain spa.
The bedrooms in this home are huge. The master, in particular, is lovely and has a mega-ensuite with a shower that could probably fit 10 people in. Honestly, you could almost throw a hot plate in there and sublet the space out.
This home is basically a dream. Beyond the necessities, there are also a few bonus rooms for you to do what you wish! A gym, an office, a man cave? All of the above? This home and it’s fully finished basement are your oyster, friends!
This cottage-style home is an absolute gem. Not only is it adorable, spacious, comfortable and luxe, it’s reasonably priced too. Folks, unlike those multi-million dollar giants we usually feature on HOTW, this one will only cost you a cool $798,500. Much wow.
