Downtown’s favourite shopping spot has some festive new photo ops

Via @coreshopping Instagram

Based on how busy the mall was last week, we have a feeling that Calgarians are getting a head start on holiday shopping this year. So, you might like to know that the CORE Shopping Centre has installed some great new holiday displays.

And, the best of them is a very rustic take on delivery presents. Using what looks to be a 1950s GMC flatbed truck, the display features a snowman, a Christmas tree, and of course presents piled high in the back.

But, that’s just one part of the holiday cheer coming to the CORE. Alongside the displays, you’ll find music and video installations, a ‘Safe Santa’ photo op starting next week, and more! The majority of the attractions kick off Black Friday, so keep it in mind if you’re doing your shopping in person this year.
